ABSTRAK
Analisis Pengaruh Waktu Tekan Terhadap Las Friksi Beda Material Alumunium Dan Tembaga Dengan Metode Pengujian Mapping
Ahmad Rizky Alfianto
karakteristik material terbaik.

Analysis of the Effect of Pressure Time on Friction Welding of Different Aluminum and Copper Materials Using the Mapping Test Method
Ahmad Rizky Alfianto
This study examines the effect of pressure time variations of 15 seconds, 30 seconds, and 45 seconds
on the quality of aluminum–copper friction welds using the mapping test method. The welding
process was carried out under constant parameters: a rotational speed of 1300 rpm, a friction time
of 60 seconds, and an axial pressure of 20 kg/cm2. The weld quality was evaluated through tensile
testing, Vickers hardness testing based on mapping, and microstructural observations using SEM-
EDX. The results show that the 30-second pressure time provides the best performance, with the
highest tensile strength of 263.96 kgf and a maximum stress value of 62.2 MPa, an average hardness
of 64.98 HV, and the most homogeneous elemental distribution. The material composition under
this condition reached 84.12% atomic and 70.26% weight for aluminum, as well as 14.71% atomic
and 28.93% weight for copper. Overall, the 30-second pressure time is the most optimal parameter
for producing friction welds with the best material characteristics.
