Sistem inventory berbasis website ini dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan stok di Toko
Sembako Slamet yang menjual sekitar 150 produk kebutuhan pokok. Sebelumnya, pencatatan dilakukan
secara manual menggunakan buku tulis, yang rentan terhadap kesalahan seperti salah tulis, lupa mencatat,
serta tidak adanya bukti transaksi. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, sistem ini dirancang menggunakan
metode Waterfall, yang meliputi tahapan analisis, perancangan, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan.
Proyek ini dibangun dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP, basis data MySQL, dan framework Bootstrap,
sehingga menghasilkan tampilan yang responsif dan mudah digunakan. Pada tahap alpha testing, sebanyak
12 skenario pengujian berhasil dijalankan tanpa hambatan. Namun, dalam lima kali uji coba tambahan,
ditemukan empat kendala pada fitur seperti barcode scanner, halaman login, tampilan beranda, dan
responsivitas di perangkat mobile. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan, sistem menunjukkan performa yang stabil.
Tahap beta testing dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan pemilik dan karyawan toko. Hasilnya menunjukkan
bahwa sebagian besar fitur mendapat respons setuju hingga sangat setuju, menandakan bahwa sistem telah
memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna. Dari aspek kegunaan, sistem memperoleh skor 78 berdasarkan metode
System Usability Scale (SUS) dari 20 responden. Skor ini tergolong Dapat Diterima, dengan nilai B pada
skala Grade dan masuk kategori Baik dalam Adjective Rating. Dengan demikian, sistem dinilai layak
digunakan dan memiliki potensi pengembangan lebih lanjut.

Design and Development of an Inventory System for Grocery Store Slamet

This web-based inventory system was developed to enhance stock management efficiency at Toko Sembako
Slamet, which sells around 150 basic goods. Previously, product records were maintained manually using
notebooks, which were prone to errors such as incorrect entries, missed documentation, and the absence of
sales receipts. To address these issues, the system was designed using the Waterfall methodology, consisting
of sequential stages: requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system
was built using PHP, MySQL for database management, and the Bootstrap framework, resulting in a
responsive and user-friendly interface. During the alpha testing phase, 12 functional test scenarios were
successfully completed without major issues. However, five additional tests were conducted to ensure feature
stability, and four of them revealed problems related to the barcode scanner, login interface, product
homepage, and responsiveness on mobile devices. After improvements were made, the final test showed that
the system performed stably. The beta testing phase involved interviews with the store owner and staff. The
feedback indicated that most system features received ratings of agree to strongly agree, showing that the
system met users operational needs. In terms of usability, the system achieved a score of 78 on the System
Usability Scale (SUS) based on responses from 20 participants. This score falls under the Acceptable
category, rated B on the Grade Scale, and classified as Good according to the Adjective Rating. Overall, the
system is considered reliable, usable, and has potential for further development, especially in improving the
mobile interface.
