RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM INFORMASI E-COMMERCE BERBASIS WEBSITE
(STUDI KASUS RUANG STYLE)
Dido Muhammad Hapsah

Dido Muhammad Hapsah

This research builds a website-based e-commerce information system for Ruang Style stores, there are several
obstacles faced by Ruang Style stores, such as the lack of marketing and the unavailability of online product sales
containers, this allows a decrease in buyers at the store, the process of purchasing goods still uses a manual
method, namely the buyer must come to the store and buy the goods directly, as well as the process of selling and
recording goods is still done manually in the form of archivesin the form of writing without an integrated database
and the results of the entry of all goods sold are still calculated manually, allowing errors in the calculation process.
The purpose of this research is to design a website-based e-commerce information system to help shop owners
process inventory data and sales and purchase data, and facilitate buyers in making transactions for goods to be
purchased through the website, so that buyers do not need to come to the store directly. The method used is the
prototype method, because the mockup is designed based on the evaluation of the user. This research uses PHP,

MySQL, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS programming languages. This research resulted in the design of a website-
based store e-commerce information system. The conclusion obtained from this research is that the design of a

website-based store management information system can be successfully run on a desktop browser and has
succeeded in facilitating the store in carrying out the product marketing process and facilitating buyers in making
transactions.
