score sebesar 94,06%. Sedangkan dari pelabelan Vader Sentimen akurasi sebesar 99, 18%, presisi
sebesar 99, 08%, recall sebesar 99, 33% dan f1- score 99, 17%.

Detecting hate speech in TikTok comments column regarding the Gaza conflict using SVM
Amelia Ariska
Hate speech is a form of expression of feelings written in the form of words so that it becomes a post
in a comment column. Hate speech uses expressions in the comment column containing elements
(sara, race, ethnicity, exclusion and so on). Writing comments containing hate speech is certainly
detrimental to everyone. TikTok is one of the social media platforms used by young people to spread
hate speech. The use of the TikTok application is often used for argumentative warfare, the current
case regarding the Gaza conflict. Users attack each other's arguments in the comment column, this
is very detrimental. TikTok has tried to create a feature to report and block content. And there have
been many studies that have detected hate speech, but no automatic dictionary has been found to
label the dataset to detect hate speech. Thus, this study was conducted to detect hate speech by doing
automatic labeling. This study compares the Inset lexicon and Vader sentiment dictionaries to find
out which dictionary is suitable for detecting hate speech. SVM was chosen as the classification
algorithm because of its ability to handle text-type data and its ability to overcome binary
classification problems such as hate speech and non-hate speech. This study produces a hate speech
dictionary from a comparison of inset lexicon and Vader sentiment and is weighted with TF-IDF.
The results of inset lexicon labeling get an accuracy of 94.97%, precision of 98.50%, recall of 90%
and F1-score of 94.06%. While from Vader Sentiment labeling, the accuracy is 99.18%, precision
is 99.08%, recall is 99.33% and f1-score is 99.17%.
