Exploring Teachers’ Perspectives And Evaluations Towards Online Learning Platforms In Indonesia

The current study carries out teachers’ perspectives and their evaluations on
using online learning platforms such as WhatsApp, Google Classroom, and
Google Meet or Zoom. Implementing a qualitative method with a study case
as its design, the purposive sampling was chosen to decide participants. The
participants were 50 student teachers at their 3rd semester in English Education
Department who had enrolled ICT in TESOL class at a private graduate school
in South Jakarta. These students were asked to point out their perspectives,
encounters, and evaluations toward those online learning platforms. The results
yield that the three of the online learning platforms had met the Affordability
aspects and CALL pedagogy aspects.
