The current study aimed to investigate the level of EFL secondary school students WTC with Artificial Intelligence (WTCAI) by exploring their perceptions and their demography factors to WTCAI in a digital environment. A total of 473 students from secondary schools participated in this study by filling out an online questionnaire administered to the required respondents. The current research utilized RASCH analyses to examine participants’ level of WTC engagement and the differences between students’ WTCAI factors level and their demography. The result of the current study discovered that female students and those aged 15 to 18 showed higher levels of WTC compared to their male and younger counterparts. However, the findings also revealed that Furthermore, junior high school students were less worried about understanding AI interactions, indicating varying levels of communication anxiety across different age groups and educational levels. This research findings suggests that certain demographic groups may be more predisposed to benefit from AI in language learning and highlighting the need for tailored educational strategies.
