Listening Skills at SMK Raflesia Depok"
This research is to seek and reveals the perceptions of use of English movies as
media to learn at Raflesia Vocational Highschool in Depok (Pandemic Situation).
For the record, the research was taken at the COVID-19 Pandemic. In this
investigation, a qualitative method phase was taken by using Google Form and
Zoom Interview. The Research subject was at the twelve grades at SMK Raflesia
Depok, 1 population of the twelves grades and 22 students who filled out a
questionnaire in the form of a survey scale and for the survey results, 5 people
selected to be interviewed to strengthen from the perspective of the perception of
English media to learn listening skills at the Pandemic situation. The instruments
used for this research were questionnaires that consisted of 10 items of statement
with a 5-point Likert-Scale, and 5 interview questions. To analyze the data, the
researcher uses triangulations data to process that involves by inserting the data
into a table in accordance with the analysis descriptive. Based on the results, the
audience showed positive answer and agreed with their opinion about Movies,
some of them ambitious and can encourage them in the study. Therefore, it can be
concluded what is students' perceptions of English Movies as media to learn
listening skills.
