This research is devoted to investigating how willingness of the students of a vocational school to communicate in English inside and outside the classroom. By means of the instrument that was adapted from Mystkowska-Wiertelak & Pawlak, (2016) for willingness to communicate (WTC) In-class and Out-class settings involving 217 vocational school students. This study used quantitative descriptive and thematic analysis approach to collected the data, the results revealed two key findings: (1) WTC in English to an Indonesian vocational school students in-class and out-class settings, (2) Other factors that found in students’ WTC in English at an Indonesian vocational school in-class and out-class settings. The findings of this study indicated that the EFL students reporting WTC out-class setting outnumbered those expressing WTC in the in-class setting. This study concludes with a discussion of the results, caveats, and implications for measuring WTC in EFL contexts. Also, this study further implied that teacher professional development facilitators should pay more attention in their teaching to the situation of students' willingness to communicate in English.
