This study aimed to find out the students' challenges in learning English at School Classroom: A case study at SMK Budhiwarman 1. This study used a qualitative approach. Questionnaires were distributed to 22 students who had studied English in class. The results of this study the researchers found that each student had different challenges with each skill. The researcher classifies the challenges in learning English into several categories, namely the writing category challenges, the speaking category which are afraid of writing incorrectly based on grammar and students also feel that there are differences in how to spell and punctuate. Speaking challenge skills were divided into three categories: students lacked confidence when speaking, students felt they did not master vocabulary, and students were afraid that their pronunciation would not match grammar. Then, for the next challenge category, namely the listening challenge. Listening challenges were divided into three categories, namely students lacked concentration, students felt limited accents, and students' lack of vocabulary was the cause of challenges in listening. In addition, the reading challenge skills are divided into two categories, namely unfamiliar words known to students and students who are less proficient in English.
