This research analyzed students’ perception of the use Scrabble games of eleventh-grade at SMA Budhi Warman 1 Jakarta. The purpose of this study was to investigate students’ perception of using Scrabble games in vocabulary learning. This research was conducted at SMA Budhi Warman 1 Jakarta and involved 30 students of the eleventh grade. The writer used qualitative data and used narrative analysis approach.
The researcher used an online questionnaire and interviews to gather the data of students’ perception of the use Scrabble Games. The results from questionnaire revealed that Scrabble game helped them to learn and improve their vocabulary and they would like to use Scrabble in future learning. The results from interviews also revealed that the majority of the students said they like to use Scrabble because it was fun to play and learn at the same time, increase their motivation to learn vocabulary, and help them to improve their English skills.
