The purpose of this study is to explore the possible correlation between the reading strategies utilized by tenth-grade students at SMAIT Nururrahman Sawangan and their reading comprehension skills. The researcher has chosen a quantitative research approach and employed a correlational research design for this investigation. The sample for this study was drawn from the tenth-grade students at SMAIT Nururrahman, comprising two classes with a total of 60 students. Questionnaires and an English comprehension test were the instruments utilized in this research. The test results prove, in the Pearson correlation table there is a df = n-2, meaning that in this study df = 58, which can be seen in the Pearson product moment correlation table. The value of 58 can be seen in the table on the far left row to find out the value of the 𝑟𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒, the researcher found a value in row df = 58 with a significance of 0.25 worth 0.254. If seen at the 𝑟𝑜𝑏𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑣𝑒𝑑 value of 0.066 and the 𝑟𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒 value of 0.254, where the 𝑟𝑜<𝑟𝑡value, it means that there is no significant effect between reading strategies on the reading comprehension of class X SMAIT Nururrahman. Based on these results, the hypothesis is accepted. It can be concluded that results of the pearson correlation indicated that there is a non-significant very small positive relationship between students reading strategies and their reading comprehension at 10th grade of Nururrahman Senior High School ,(r(58) = .0663, p = .615).
