The aim of this study is to find out student’s perception of the use of storytelling technique to improve their English speaking confidence. This research was held at 54 Junior High School and involved 33 students. The method used in this research was quantitative by using a questionnaire that use Likert-scale which consisted some questions to find out student’s perception. The data result showed that when the teacher used storytelling for teaching, the students got more enthusiasm and confidence to speak English.
