The objective of this study was find out whether teaching vocabulary through using English song is effective for the Students of the eighth grade students of Khuandon Wittaya School in 2021/2022 academic year. In this study, the writer took one class of eigth grade students which consist of 27 students as the sample. The method of this research is quantitative method with the pre experiment design. The instrument used for collecting the data was vocabulary test in form of pre-test and post-test.
From the data analysis, the pre-test score average (before treatment use English Song technique) is 2.9 After the writer did the experiment by using English Song technique, the post-test score is higher than the pre-test score. The post-test score average gets 6.9, then the result of t-test shows that tobserved is 4.65 and ttable is 1.703, so tobserved is higher than ttable (4.65 > 1.70). It means that Ho is rejected as a result the Hi is accepted. From the result of the research, it is conducted that the technique of using English Song in teaching listening skill to seven grade students of the Khuandon Wittaya School is effective.
