The research is to find the empirical evidence of whether or not there is a significant relationship between students’ creative thinking ability and their writing skills of analytical exposition text for the eight grade of SMPN 51 Jakarta in the academic year of 2021/2022. The writer used the quantitative research method by using the correlational quantitative types. The data analysis technique used the person product moment formula with Microsoft excel 2019. The population and sample of this research are population 190 and, 36 samples of SMPN 51 Jakarta students respondents.
The finding of the analysis and statistical calculation showed that robserved is 0.63 and r table is a 0.33 in the significant level of 0.05 with df = 36-2 = 34. In other words, robserved is higher than rtable (ro > rt). As the result, H0 is rejected and Hi is accepted. It showed that there is relationship between students’ creative thinking and writing skill, Meanwhile, From the t-test, it was known that the result of tobserved is

around 6.09 which is higher than ttable = 1.69 ( ro > rt ). Therefore, H0 is rejected and Hi accepted. It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between students’ creative thinking and their writing skills of analytical exposition text for the eight grade students of SMPN 51 Jakarta in the academic year of 2021/2022.
