This study aims to find out English foreign language (EFL) students’
perceptions of Google Classroom used in learning English writing of narrative
text. As we know, in 2020/2021 Academic Year, the students must learn English
through online due to the covid-19 pandemic situation. The teachers mostly used
Google Classroom as the main online learning platform. Students then were
familiar with the new era of learning though Google Classroom, including English
Writing of Narrative Text. Thus, this study tried to explore more on the side of
students’ perception by using quantitative and qualitative approach or mix method
by implementing survey design and instruments. The respondents of this study
were high school students from 10th and 11th grade or level in Jabodetabek area.
After the data has been collected, the writer analyzed it by using SPSS version
28.0 to know the Cronbach and Ms. Excel to know total of the data. The result
showed that LMS Google Classroom makes students easy to study online, and it
helps them to interact with the teacher from the feedback column. Teacher can
have great interaction wiht the students in Google Classroom Platform such as
giving some revisions, comments, or advice for students to fix their writing
narrative. Students mostly feel satisfying to use Google Classroom as online
learning of narrative writing platform.
