This study used qualitative research to find out the English teachers’ and students’ perceptions about the use of using Zoom meeting as an online platform for online learning during covid-19. The data of this research was collected through in-depth interview. The data was analyzed using Miles and Huberman model (data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion). The interview consist three English teachers and six students of a senior high school of SMA Negeri 1 Cibitung. The result of this study show that Zoom Meeting truly helping the teachers in distance learning, however the use of Zoom Meeting as teaching aid was ineffective in learning English.
