The objective of the study was to find out the empirical evidence of whether or not English Summative test for the tenth grade students of SMA Pusaka Nusantara 2 BEKASI in the 2017/2018 academic year was in line with the English syllabus of 2013 curriculum. The writer used descriptive comparative analysis method in this study. This method is used for both analyzing and comparing the content validity of English summative test based on the syllabus and the 2013 curriculum. The checklist tables, English summative test, and syllabus were used to collect the data. The object of this study is English summative test for the tenth grade students. The writer used the simple percentage formula from Sudijono for the technique of data analysis. To prove if the English summative test had good content validity or not, the writer analyzed the test items of the English summative test for the tenth grade students of SMA Pusaka Nusantara 2 Bekasi to find out the conformity of the English summative test with the existing syllabus of 2013 curriculum. The writer found that percentage of listening materials was 0%, the percentage of speaking materials was 0%, and the percentage of writing materials was 0%. While, thepercentage of reading materials was 85%. The percentage of English component was 15%. It is taken from, grammar/structure was 7, 5%, vocabulary was 7, 5% and pronunciation was 0%. The writer concludes that the category of materials and English component are best. the English summative test of the second semester of the tenth grade students of SMA Pusaka Nusantara 2 Bekasi have a good content validity. Based on Arikunto‟s criterion of the test, the result of the percentage showed that the content validity of English summative test for the second semester of the tenth grade students is best. It can be concluded that, the English summative test of SMA Pusaka Nusantara 2 Bekasi have a good content validity. Hopefully, the English summative test can be improved. Related to this, the teachers know how to analyze the content validity of the English summative test.
