This study aims to find empirical evidence of students' perception on the use of video animation in learning English. The question of this research was "what is students' perception on the use of video animation in the learning of English?" This study used qualitative and quantitative approaches with a descriptive case study. Quantitative data were used to support the descriptive elaboration of the factual data finding through the questionnaire. The writer conducted a survey using a questionnaire with a closed–ended question. The research participants were 100 junior secondary school students' in East Jakarta taken using Slovin's formula. The participants were distributed based on 10 sub–districts in East Jakarta using the Multi–Stratified Random Sampling. Based on the research findings, students' perception on the use of video animation in the English learning was positive. Many students chose to agree that it is easier to receive learning using video animation because students felt interested in learning English using video animation. Furthermore, students' reactions to video animation in learning English are positive because video animation makes students excited and motivated in learning English. Moreover, more than half of the students chose to agree with a good opinion about learning English using video animation.
