English Summative Test for the Tenth Grade Students on the First Semester at
SMA Keluarga Widuri Jakarta in the 2018/2019 Academic Year. The Study
Programme of English Education, the Faculty of Teachers’ Training and Education,
the University of Muhammadiyah Prof. DR. HAMKA.
The objective of the study is to find out the evidence whether the content
of English summative test for the tenth grade students of SMA Keluarga Widuri
on the first semester in the 2018/2019 academic year has a content validity or not.
The study uses the comparative descriptive analysis method. In this case,
the writer compared the English summative test with the learning objectives and
materials based on English syllabus of the 2013 Curriculum. The instruments are
in the forms a checklist which were arranged based on objectives and materials in
English syllabus of the 2013 Curriculum. The objectives and materials of each
language skills are identified and arranged into the list. They are changed become
the question as instrument.
The finding of the study is the English summative test which was
administered in SMA Keluarga Widuri Jakarta has 90% of the content of the English
summative test conformed with the English syllabus requirements of the
2013 Curriculum.
Based on Arikunto’s scheme of the conformity level, the writer concludes
that the content of English summative test for the tenth grade students on the first
semester at SMA Keluarga Widuri in the 2018/2019 academic year is categorized
as sufficient test
