The objective of this study was to find the empirical evidence of whether or not the English summative test made by English teacher of SMPN 222 Jakarta has been reliable. In this study, the writer used the parallel form method to estimate the reliability. The respondents of this study were 214 students and the samples were 36 students randomly from the seventh grade students of SMPN 222 Jakarta in the Academic Year of 2017/2018. The technique of data collecting was by giving parallel test administered on Tuesday, July 24th, 2018. The result of this study shows that the data of two variables are significant correlated. It was found robserved (ro) is 0.953 and rtable (rt) is 0.329 in the level of significance of P = 0.05. Since ro > rt = 0.953 > 0.329, so H0 was rejected and Hi was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the English summative test made by English teacher of SMPN 222 Jakarta for the seventh grade students in the second semester of the 2017/2018 academic year has been reliable.
