This study was conducted in SMAN 57 Jakarta in September 2017. The objective
of the study was to find empirical evidence of whether or not the English
summative test for the tenth grade students of SMAN 57 Jakarta was in line with
the syllabus of 2013 Curriculum. The population was all of the tenth grade
students of the first semester at SMAN 57 Jakarta. The sample of this study was
35 students taken from X-3. The objects of the study were the English summative
test and the English syllabus of 2013 Curriculum. The mixed qualitative and
quantitative analysis had been used as the method of this research to find out the
conformity of the test with the English syllabus of 2013 Curriculum. For this
investigation, the writer used checklist to collect the data. The data then was
calculated by using simple statistical formula P =f/N x 100% and interpreted by
using Arikunto’s scheme of the conformity level. From the finding of the
research, it could be seen that 50,1% of the English summative test was in line with the objectives and materials stated in the Emglish syllabus of 2013
Curriculum. According to Arikunto’s conformity level, the English summative
test for the tenth grade students of SMAN 57 Jakarta administered in the first semester was sufficient valid.
