The objective of study is to find the empirical evidence whether or not the
English summative test for the tenth grade students on SMK Prestasi Prima in
2016/2017 academic year is in line with the syllabus of 2013 Curriculum.
This research is a qualitative method. It is done by comparing the content
of the English textbook entitle FORWARD and syllabus on K-13
curriculum. This research is focused on the reading materials in the English
textbook entitle FORWARD for the tenth grade student at SMK Prestasi Prima
Jakarta which used for teaching the tenth grade student.
From the analysis of the data, the writer found that the percentage of the sub
materials of oral and written text is 45.4%. While, the sub materials of social
function is 33.4%, and the sub materials of utterances is 50%, and then the sub
materials of language features is 50%. Whereas the percentage of reading indicator
is 57%, and the percentage of writing indicator is 0%, listening indicator is 0%, and
speaking indicator is 0%. The result showed that all the total percentages of the data analysis is 47.2%. Based on Arikunto`s scheme, it could be said that content validity of English summative test in SMK PRESTASI PRIMA Jakarta for the first grade
students in 2016/2017 academic year has sufficient content validity.
