The study was conducted to find the empirical evidence for the conformity and nonconformity of the content of the English summative test with the existing English syllabus of the 2013 curriculum required for the second semester of the tenth grade students of SMA Angkasa 1 East Jakarta.
The object of this study was the English summative test and the English syllabus of 2013 curriculum. The writer used the method of descriptive qualitative analysis to compare and to analyze the conformity of the English summative test with the English syllabus of 2013 curriculum for senior high school. The instrument of the research to collect the data is the checklist. The writer focused the analysis on comparing the content of the English summative test and the English syllabus of 2013 of relating to the materials and the objective of both reading and writing skills.
As a result, the percentage of the analysis between the English summative test and the content of the English syllabus of the 2013 curriculum is 80%. It means that the content validity of summative test for the second semester of the tenth grade students of SMA Angkasa 1 East Jakarta in 2016/2017 academic year is good.
