The objective of this research is to measure the readability level of reading texts of “Bahasa Inggris” textbook that is written by Mahrukh Bashir for the eleventh grade students in 2016/2017 Academic Year, and it was published by Pusat Kurikulum dan Perbukuan, Balitbang, Kemendikbud. The method of the research is descriptive quantitative method. In this method, the writer only obtained the information concerning the readability of the English comprehension text for eleventh grade students. The instrument is reading texts from English textbook “Bahasa Inggris”. Based on the research findings, the writer concluded that the readability level of five reading texts in English textbook “Bahasa Inggris” that used as teaching reading materials for the eleventh grade students are 74. It indicates that the reading texts are appropriate enough for the students because they are fairly easy for the students. In addition, the students can comprehend and understand the reading material even without teacher‟s help.
