The objective of the research was to find whether or not the reading materials in English textbook entitled Bahasa Inggris for the XI grade of senior high school in the first semester were compatible with the Curriculum of 2013. The method used in this research was descriptive comparative analysis. The writer compared the contents of the reading materials in an English textbook entitled Bahasa Inggris with the reading materials listed in the Curriculum of 2013. The reading materials included the reading objective/indicators, learning materials, and classroom activities. In this research the writer used checklist tables made based on the basic competences of reading materials for the eleventh grade in the Curriculum 2013. The research finding showed that the calculation of the reading materials in the textbook were relevant with the Curriculum of 2103. The percentage of the reading materials in the textbook was 71.46%. It means the level of the conformity of the reading materials in the textbook was good. Therefore, the reading materials in Bahasa Inggris textbook for the eleventh grade in the first semester were compatible with the Curriculum of 2013.
