The objective of the study is to find out the empirical evidence of whether or not the English summative test for the tenth grade students of SMKN 9 Jakarta is in line with the syllabus of 2013 Curriculum.
The objects of the study are the English summative test and the content of the English syllabus of 2013 Curriculum. The mixed quantitative and qualitative analysis have been used as the method of this study to find out the conformity of the test with the content of the English syllabus of 2013 Curriculum. For this study, the writer used checklist to collect the data. The data then are calculated by using simple statistical formula P =f/N x 100% and interpreted used Arikunto’s scheme of the conformity level.
From the finding of the study, it can be seen that the results of the study indicated that the English summative test has 51% that are in line with the objectives and materials in the English syllabus of 2013 Curriculum. According to Arikunto’s conformity level, the English summative test for the tenth grade students of SMKN 9 Jakarta which was administered in the first semester is sufficient valid. The benefit of this study is to help the teacher to make a good test especially the content validity of the test.
