The objective of the research was to find the answer of the question of the problem: Is the English summative test made by the English teacher for the tenth grade students of SMA Muhammadiyah 15 Jakarta in the first semester of the 2016/2017 academic year reliable? This research used quantitative method, and the writer calculated the correlation of English summative test made by the English teacher and Parallel test made by the writer by using Pearson’s Product Moment. In order to collect the data, the writer took a set of English summative test made by the English teacher. There were 45 items of the test, 40 numbers were multiple choices and 5 numbers were essay. The result of the analysis, the writer got ro = 0.96 and rt = 0.329. Because ro > rt it can be known that there was a significant correlation between English summative test and Parallel test for the tenth grade students of SMA Muhammadiyah 15 Jakarta in the first semester of the 2016/2017 academic year. It could be concluded that the English summative test for the tenth grade students of SMA Muhammadiyah 15 Jakarta in the first semester of 2016/2017 academic year was reliable.
