The research was done aiming to find the empirical evidence for the conformity and/or inconformity of the English summative test with the existing English syllabus of 2013 curriculum required for the eleventh grade students of SMAN 39 Jakarta in the first semester of 2015/2016 academic year.
The objects of the research are the English summative test and the English syllabus of 2013 curriculum. The comparative analysis had been used as the method of this research to find out the conformity of the test with the syllabus of 2013 curriculum. For this investigation, the writer used checklist to collect data. The data then was calculated by using simple statistical formula C = T/S x 100% and interpreted used scheme of conformity level that the writer modified from Arikunto‟s scheme of level of validity.
The data of the research indicated that the percentage of validity of English summative test administered by students of SMAN 39 Jakarta is 49%. It means that the content validity of the English summative test for the eleventh grade students of SMAN 39 Jakarta in the first semester of 2015/2016 academic year is not valid, or based on the scheme of level validity that the content of English summative test can be categorized not valid.
