The objective of the research is to find the empirical evidence whether or not the English summative test for the tenth grade students on SMA Negeri 57 West Jakarta in 2015/2016 academic year is in line with the English syllabus of 2013 Curriculum.
The study uses the comparative descriptive qualitative as a method. In this case, the writer compares the English summative test content with learning materials and objectives based on syllabus content required for the tenth grade student. The instrument is in checklist form which is arranged based on materials and objectives in syllabus of 2013 Curriculum. The materials and objectives of each language skills are identified and arranged into the lists. They become the questions as the instrument
From the analysis of the data, the writer finds that the English summative test which is administered by SMA Negeri 57 Jakarta Barat is inconformity with the syllabus content of 2013 Curriculum. The percentage of the material in oral and written text indicators are 62,5%. While, the material in social function is 50%, and the material in utterances are 62,5%. Morover, the material in language features are 37%, and the material in topic is 28%. Then, the indicator of reading skill is 57%. Therefore, the calculation of all the total percentage of the data is 49,5%. Based on Arikunto’s scheme, it means that the content validity of English summative test in SMA Negeri 57 Jakarta Barat for the tenth grade students in 2015/2016 academic year has sufficient content validity.
