The population was taken from the tenth grade students of SMAN 1 Babelan, Bekasi. The writer took 38 students of one class for the sample of the research. The research findings indicated that r-𝑜𝑏𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑣𝑒𝑑 was 0.88 and r-𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒 was 0.320. In this case, the table of t-distribution in significant level of 0.05 (the probability 0.95) and df = 38 – 2 = 36 gave the r-𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒 = 0.320, which could be concluded that r-𝑜𝑏𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑣𝑒𝑑 (0.88) was higher than r-𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒 (0.320), in other words it rejected the Null Hypothesis (𝐻0). As conclusion, the English summative test for the tenth grade students of SMAN 1 Babelan, Bekasi in the first semester of the 2016/2017 academic year is RELIABLE.
