The Reliability of English Summative test for the Eight Grade students of Junior High 122 School North Jakarta in Second Semester of the 2015/2016 Academic Year

This research was conducted in February – August 2016. The purpose of this study is to find the empirical answer of the question whether or not the English summative test for eight grade students of Junior High School 122 North Jakarta in the second semester of the 2015/2016 academic year reliable.
In this research, the writer used a survey method using correlation technique. The population respondents of this research were the eight grade students of Junior High School 122 Jakarta. The writer took 36 students of one class for the sample of the research. The data which the writer got from the research were analyzed using the Pearson’s Product Moment Analysis formula.
Based on the data analysis, it was found the observed coefficient (ro) was 6.45 and the value of the table of (rt) was 0.329. Because the ro > rt Ho was rejected and Hi was accepted. It gives empirical evidence to the writer to make a conclusion that the English summative test for the eight grade students of Junior High School 122 North Jakarta in the second semester of the 2015/2016 academic year is RELIABLE.
