The objective of this research was to find out whether or not the items of the English summative test for the twelfth grade students of SMKN 37 Jakarta in the second semester of 2015/2016 academic year consisted of good items related to the difficulty level or the facility value, discriminating power, and the effectiveness of the distracters, so it can be categorized which items should be accepted, revised, and discarded. The methods which were used in this research were quantitative and qualitative analysis method. Quantitative analysis was used in calculating the data of the difficulty level, discriminating power, and the effectiveness of the distracters scores. Meanwhile, qualitative analysis was used in describing the quality and the the weakness of the items. The sampling of this research was the twelfth grade students of SMKN 37 Jakarta that consisted of 60 students who were divided into 2 classes. Based on the analysis of this research, the English summative test which was administered in SMKN 37 Jakarta did not consist the criteria of good items because out of 50 items, there were 39 items accepted, 2 items which were categorized as rejected items, and 6 items needed to be revised. The writer also found out 3 items which did not have a correct answer, so those items were also needed to be revised.
